SoberGPS is owned and operated by SoberMedia™ ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or continuing to use SoberGPS, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. If you are using SoberGPS on behalf of an organisation (for example, listing a venue), you confirm you have authority to bind it.

SoberGPS is a discovery app for sober-friendly venues, events, and community content. It is not a counselling, medical, treatment, or emergency service, and nothing in the app is professional advice. Listings are provided for information only; always confirm details with the venue.

Provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

You must not:

• use SoberGPS for anything unlawful;
• post fraudulent, spam, harassing, hateful, or deliberately misleading content;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy, including uploading photos you have no rights to;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the service — no malware, probing, scraping, circumventing limits, or reverse engineering;
• resell or redistribute the service or its data.

You keep ownership of the reviews, photos, and submissions you post. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and moderate that content solely to operate SoberGPS. You are responsible for what you post and confirm you have the rights to it. We may remove content or restrict accounts where content breaches these Terms, and rights-holders can contact support@sobergps.com for takedown requests. Repeat infringers lose access.

We retain all rights in the SoberGPS software, design, database, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under your selected plan.

Paid plans (SoberGPS Premium and venue listings) renew automatically for the billing period you select until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout and may include tax.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for our money-back guarantee. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.

We work to keep SoberGPS available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, and maintenance or third-party outages may cause downtime.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time. On termination your access ends; you may request an export of your content within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may update these Terms and will notify you of material changes.
